Women’s Fellowship

Who should join?

All women of the church are already members of Women’s Fellowship! We meet in the library at church on the first Wednesday of the month, September through May, at 9:30 a.m., to have devotions, plan our events, conduct our business and share treats. We love children!! So if you’re home with the kids, feel free to bring them along.

What do we do?

We are in charge of the traditional women’s ministry of the church, so we plan and serve several meals each year, plan Women’s spiritual events, and serve at funerals. We also try to include some outings and purely social events in our schedule.

Do you have to be able to cook? NO!! While some of our active members enjoy cooking and baking for our events, others don’t, and that’s ok. We need good organizers, people who are willing to work at our events and creative people with new ideas. We also want to know what the women of the church are interested in, and we just want to get to know you.

Do you have to make a commitment to come to the meeting every month? NO!! While we’d love to have you join us, there are many other ways to participate. Come to a spiritual event or a brunch or luncheon, bring your specialty to one of our bake sales, sign up to be called to help with a funeral—and most importantly, let us know what we can do to make it easy for you to participate, and what you think would be enjoyable and educational for the women of the church.
