Youth in grades six through twelve are invited to join Kevin Brown and Pastor Oby in the library for a special youth second hour. Kevin, from the MN Conference UCC, will be leading a conversation about youth opportunities for summer enrichment. This will be followed by a session of ” Ask Oby Anything”. Pastor Oby Ballinger has had some interesting life experiences. Sometimes when he isn’t in the room, a youth will say with raised eyebrows, “Oby was raised in a cult.” This is a fact, but it’s hard to know what that was like, or how it affected his thinking. Other times, a young person will say, “Did you know that Oby got beat up?” This too, is more or less true. Oby was once mugged. Does being mugged make you change the way you think about God or people? That’s a question for Oby. Come find the answers to these and any other questions you may have!
