Morningside Theatre Company was founded in 2010 by EMC’s Jim Lansing, Kelly Newell and Jane Williams. With just nine student actors, many playing multiple roles, our little stage in Fellowship Hall became the fairytale world of Into the Woods JR. And from that moment on, summers in Morningside have never been quite the same! Our wonderful neighborhood families spread the word and over the years we have grown to multiple camps, classes and community events year round. The next generation at MTC has a new trio: Gigi deGrood, JJ Gisselquist and Ella Williams. We are so excited and grateful to continue to bring theatre to the Morningside neighborhood in our little church basement. This tiny stage sure packs a punch!
