Thanks to EMC members Pam, Pam, Laurie and Mary for providing a birthday lunch—complete with taco salads and a personalized birthday cake—for more than a dozen residents, including the two birthday guests, of 66 West. “Your positive energy, expert lunch skills and good humor made for a very delightful afternoon,” wrote Christina Giese, director of volunteer engagement. This EMC group plans to repeat their volunteerism in the coming months at this apartment complex for young adults who have experienced homelessness.
