Worship through Lent

During the five Lenten Sundays in March, we will focus on topics of racial justice.

March 1: “Awakening”

How Jesus prepared the disciples for God’s realm.

March 8: “Rethinking”

Jesus explains that the Son of Man came to serve, not to be served

March 15: “Relearning”

The author of “Waking up White” shares her work on racial justice, as we discuss Jesus’ view of taxes and the connection between property and people.

March 22: “Investing”

Scripture about a poor widow who gives away everything will be paired with a special offering to support humanitarian aid and development efforts.

March 29: “Becoming”

Jesus calls on his disciples to be watchful for signs of the end of the age.
